Flyball Titles
Dogs competing in flyball events earn title points that accumulate to titles. In Tasmania, we have two categories of Flyball titles:

Australian Flyball Association (AFA) Titles;
-
Tasmanian Flyball Titles.
AFA Titles
At AFA-sanctioned events, dogs accumulate points toward Flyball titles based on their team's performance. Every dog on a team earns one title point for completing a clean run, plus an additional title point if their team wins the round.
The value of these points depends on the racing format, with points earned in Teams (four dogs) worth one full point each, and points earned in Pairs (two dogs) worth half a point (0.5) each. Once a dog's aggregate points meet or exceed the required thresholds, they achieve that Flyball title and receive an official AFA title certificate.
Furthermore, dogs registered with the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) can have these achieved titles officially recognised.

Tasmanian Titles
As the only long-term Flyball club in Tasmania, the Tassie Flying Paws Dog Club created the Tasmanian Flyball Titles in recognition that Tasmanian dogs have fewer opportunities than mainland clubs to compete in regular events and earn title points.
Tasmanian Flyball Titles are awarded based on a dog's aggregate points, combining official AFA points with Tasmanian title points. Dogs earn these local points through three streams:

Current AFA Title Points, plus

Additional title points for AFA sanctioned pairs events, this means title points for pairs for Tasmanian title points is valued at 1 point not half a point.

For races held as demos in Tasmania, teams, pairs or singles, title points are worth 1 point for a clean run and 1 point for a win.
Like AFA Flyball Titles, dogs accumulate points over time. Once a dog's aggregate total meets or exceeds the required threshold in the following table, they earn the corresponding Tasmanian Flyball Title and a title certificate.
